Limited editions

The limited editions are based on the original paintings of Marianne Hendriks. The limited prints are in certified Giclée printing format. The limited editions can only be made officially with the artist's approval. The word limited indicates that the artist guaranties the amount that will be printed and will guarantee not to produce more. The limitation of printing adds rarity and value as there will be only a limited amount of prints available. The print numbers vary from 10-300. The viewer prints are made the higher the value of the print.

Giclée print

The Giclée prints are created by the renowned print house Re-art and are part of the 'Fine Art Trade Guild'. The Certified Art Giclée™ logo guarantees consumers, artists, galleries and museums the highest quality and longevity of the giclées in question and is always provided with a certificate of authenticity. The Giclée logo is embossed on the certificate of authenticity. Certified Art Giclée™ also guarantees that more prints are never produced than agreed with the artist. The shelf life of a Certified Art Giclée™ is at least 100 years and therefore meets the archival standard set by the 'Fine Art Trade Guild'.

Giclée comes from the French verb 'gicler' which means to radiate or atomize. With this technique, high-quality inks are applied in different colour layers to special art paper (fine art paper), photo paper or canvas.

Printing process

The canvas and paper types are specially provided with an underlayer (coating) that ensures that the inks do not break down. After printing, the canvas giclée prints are provided with a UV-resistant varnish or a UV top coating, allowing Re-Art to provide a lifetime warranty.

Environmentally friendly

Our giclee inks are chemical-free, water-based and have no harmful effect on the environment. Our canvas and paper types are mainly composed of natural raw materials, pH neutral and free of chemical brighteners and adhesives.
